To stop following either use WASD movement keys, SPACEBAR action key or click LMB.

You can also use the above key combinations on a Tent/Siesta Lean-to used by another player to keep following or pushing him.

Why I can't move while being pushed?

Cause: lag compensation (movement prediction) is enabled
Solution: disable the lag compensation (movement prediction)

First of all, I'm sorry to hear that. Most likely you have run into this issue when someone was using this mod for "trolling" purposes. This is very sad that there are people with such mentality and I'm strongly against using this mod for such low purposes. I can't control the people's behaviour and the tool itself is not the problem here.

If you run into this issue, disabling the lag compensation (movement prediction) should solve this issue.

Keep Moving

Some people have been messaging me about the KeepMoveOrFollow mod and requesting the feature to keep moving by holding an action key.

Even though both mods have some similarities, this mod has not been originated from the mentioned one. If that was the case, I would mention that since the beginning. I'm not planning to add the “keep moving” functionality since from an engineering perspective it's a completely different feature, unlike the following/pushing case.

But if you still think that you lack the “keep moving” functionality, let me know in the comments below and I'll create a separate mod for that with some additional features.

yeah, i actually asked carolinarente myself to do the temporary fork, haha.
if you're eventually gonna implement it into your own main mod then it would be really nice and also remove the need to use the fork.
i think its for the best as you're the mod developer and you'll probably keep it updated more and give it better stability.
i suggest adding an option to disable pushing as well since pushing is more useful for mobs, but since id like to disable the feature anyway then pushing becomes kind of pointless. in an ideal world you'd create a keybind to turn targetting mobs on and off anytime so that i can push creates when i need to but be able to shift force attack them if i dont need pushing, but oh well, thats probably asking too much. you could check carolinarente's code and implement it into this mod, so as to save time.

@libero2711, Sorry for the late response. I'm not sure how I missed your comment. I'll include an option to follow/push only players in the next release (v0.22.0) after finishing the maintenance part. In the meantime, you might want to check out @carolinarente's fork, which should already have this option implemented. I'll make a release in ~3-4 days.

Hey, I'm not sure if this mod is still getting worked on so I made a tweaked version of it and uploaded it. I read the license and I understood that I'm allowed to do so. But just in case, please contact me if you want it to be taken down.

hello, im not sure you're aware of this, or if its even my fault, but i use left shift to force attack most mobs and with this mod it isnt allowing me to do so.
i dont even understand why you can have an option to follow mobs in the first place but if it were toggeable my issue would be resolved. could you add an option to disable the follow thing working on mobs, please? thank you!

I noticed that the mod won't allow you to push mobs without collision (eye+twins of terror, shadow pieces). I know that the player would only end up in the center of the mob's hitbox, but that is exactly what I want to use it for (essentially following at 0 distance).

@AsmundN, Everything works as expected and I didn't notice any crashes. Have you tried disabling other mods to make sure that this one is causing the crash?
