Yes you can do that. It was just a fantasy project I played with.

I was thinking of doing the modification, but wanted to ask first. Do you mind if I create an edited version and upload? I was thinking of changing the platform at the base into something that would serve as landing platforms for ships, then attach a solar array to the sides in some way(haven't quite figured out how I'd do that yet, but I have some ideas) I will of course post a link here to my new version and post a link in my post sending people back to here for the original to give you credit.
