Astral SP-02

Description
Introduction

The Astral SP-02 is the second vehicle in the Astral family. The refined craftsmanship and fine tuning all worked together to create this hypercar which is able to reach over 300km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 1 second.

- fully functional road lights and indicator lights
- extreme power and stability, able to perform sharp turnings at over 200 km/h
- active spoilers and fins
- Auto Cruise (only works on roads with barriers)

Update

User Guide

1. Head to the driver seat

2. Disable parking brakes, turn on key switch. WASD to move, other controls are all labelled.

3. To change cruise speed, simply tap on the arrow keys on the HUD.

NOTE: enabling parking brake while throttle up in gears other than neutral will stall the engine and drain the batteries

=\ My best steering module is https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1892520382 but it looks like implementing ackerman curves will basically perfect it. I'm trying to debug your equation in that controller now and I'm getting this glitch where if I'm more than 0.5 over or so one of the four wheels glitches out. currently the rear wheel on the inside of the turn. trying to find a fix now.

wow, hadn't thought about ackerman angles. I think you have an error tho because you treat the offset as positive on both sides so you null out your calibration. I'd been using X * abs(X) geometric steering curve and then a sigmoid transitioning AWS module on my designs. I think if I can incorporate this ackerman equation, I'll finally have the perfect steering system.

the basic idea is that there are sensor that detects the side walls and turns away from the wall
