Douglas SBD Dauntless

Description
The Douglas SBD Dauntless is an American naval dive bomber that was used by the United States Marine Corps, both from land air bases and aircraft carriers in WWII. The Scout Bomber Douglas (or SBD in short) is best remembered as the bomber that delivered the fatal blows to the Imperial Japanese carriers at the Battle of Midway.

It is armed with two forward-firing machine guns, two backward-firing machine guns for the rear gunner, & 3 bombs. The bombs are however, completely made out of foam & it's very exposed to the aircraft's bottom that it can get shot & explode easily. To make bombing runs more safer for the pilot, the bomb is designed to accurately hit the target & to be dropped from a very high altitude that's enough for the enemy anti-aircrafts or flaks to have hard time hitting the plane, & to drop it with a kind of a twist & dive bombing performance done by the pilot with the help of the aim of the aircraft's gunscope.

The aircraft can withstand a lot of small & big calibers of machine gun fire, almost invincible, & even a few numbers of bazooka rockets if mostly hit on the front wings, thanks to its thickness & structure, as long as the aircraft doesn't have its bombs mounted & get them hit to explode violently.

Probably, but considering that the new version came out and the game is dying slowly, it's probably too late.

Sorry about that, it was my control preference of the aircraft back then. Should I update it?

This is great and all, but the controls are a bit odd. Why does alt view yaw control both plane yaw and roll? It makes for some unorthodox controls.

This is meant to be a divebomber

This is a Dauntless DaFrenchTank, the King-Fisher was a sea plane and this is not. Just the bombs are a little off.

I got the information from Google/Wikipedia 0.O I'm confused now

This isn't a bad comment but I dont think the dauntless was a scout plane. I think you have it confused with the king-fisher
