Description
This mod introduces utility items meant to fill tactical niches in your loadout. As of present, BUI includes over twenty different real-world flashlights. Some are powerful enough to reach for over 1,000 meters, while others produce specially colored light for hunting and tactical applications. If you want to blind your enemies, scope out a town from afar, or blow your location to every man in ten country miles, then BUI is the mod for you.

I tried IR lights, although it appears they're not possible under the engine.

did you perchance manage to create tactical flashlights which work if entering a dark indoor space during daylight?
