After the success of Rutile Classic and its Military Variant became the new standard for T.N.N.S.F. exploration fleet, it's only natural the design focus turns to luxury again.
After all, the initial Rutile was manufactured to be a yacht sold to the rich to generate funds.

Little needs to be said for its purpose, it aims to be and successfully achieves as a luxury touring ship.
But it is worth noting that comparing to original Rutile, this one incorporate the research and design improvement made while developing the military variant.
Hence it has better armor and is better armed, while at the same time having its own solar power source, oxygen generator, and also offers the most luxurious interior ever seen in T.N.N.S.F. ships.

As absurd as it may sound, this luxury ship is one of the most advanced craftsmanship built by the science foundation to date.
Though not directly related to exploration, research or defense purpose, this ship is most beloved by chief council members to hold important meetings with potential clients and fund providers.

This is the Rutile I personally use, actually I "intend to use" because I haven't really got time to build one from scratch in survival.
My personal ship will definitely get tweaked a lot in the future, this is just one of the newer version.
The latest one I use has some of the interior decoration and doors from multiple newer DLCs, this one is limited to using only one decoration DLC pack.

Since I'm not the fighting type of player, I choose to make my ship less armed but with a lot more windows to feel like a ship I want to live in.
It still has decent armor though, just not stacked with guns.
I'd imagine with some mods like shields and custom weapons, it can be an all around ship capable of everything, while looking nice and comfortable.

Hope you like this ship, and if I have time (not likely in the near future though), I will definitely fly one of this on a multiplayer server.

Took me a bit to build, what a beauty :)

Not sure if it was just my game acting up, but I had a single armor block on the back right side, next to one of the downwards hydro thrusters in a different colour. Tried painting it myself, but then it turned out, I also had to get me one of the DLC for that armorskin, worth it though :)

Your Acorn, Rutile and Badhbh ship don't seem to work for me in survival mode, only in creative? I tested all their variants. The rest of your ships for perfectly fine. Can I do something about this myself?

Thank you!
I've been busy lately so I can only do some clean up/remodel of old designs.
Hopefully I will be able to build new ships once things are settled.

Didn't think you could improve on this design, but you did. Great work.
