Description

This map uses official Objective Mode from TWI so it is possible to win XP playing.
This map is compatible only with Objective Mode.

Features:

  • Official Objective Mode from TWI with a few 'tweaks' on kismet to allow me to recreate KFO-FrightYard.
  • Original Halliday voices.
  • Original trader songs and 'wave gameplay' songs. (there's a switch at the spawn point to disable this)
  • Unique ending cinematic.

I recommend you lower the 'dialog volume' from your settings menu to avoid Trader voice on top of Halliday's voice.

Objectives information:
This is the list of objectives to complete:
  1. Exterminate zeds.
  2. Transport - Find the transmitter Switch and cord, search on every container with red doors.
  3. Hold zone - Stand on the pressure plate to move the crane.
  4. Exterminate - Lead 10 bloats to Halliday's machine and make sure nothing else falls in!. (objective is not completed until 10 bloats are lead to the machine).
  5. Exterminate - Toss dosh to the machines and win some gas! (objective is not completed until you win twice).
  6. Hold zone - Survive for three minutes.
  7. Kill the boss.

Original story:

They say since a certain, recent shipment, Halliday's Freight Yard is swarming with the strangest creatures. People hear odd noises coming out of there after dark. The curious go in, but they never come out again, by road, sea or rail. Maybe you should investigate.

MAJOR ISSUE: if you drop the data pad and it gets reset, it doesn't respawn and you can't progress

I reported this bug a year ago and created a new post but no answer...

I might change the whole map to work as a survival map since there's no fix for this bug (at this time) but it will take me time. I'll do my best people :steamhappy:

Indeed when I select objective mode the map is not in the list, if I select survival it is, and it becomes a holdout map without objectives.

Some friends told me that a KF2 update broke the map. Im working on an update to fix that and to remove the music
