Description
"While digging through some of The Foundation's documents we recovered earlier, we've found a description of an Organisation, depiction of which really closely resembles that of one strong, but rather uncooperative resistance group. We don't know much about them, as most of text is erased with a black marker, but they seem to have been working for foundation at some point. Most likely they'll be hostile to us, and attack on sight." - Bradford

Overview
Welcome to second of my SCP raider faction mods! This mod adds a sitrep labeled "Chaos Insurgency Hit-And-Run" Which spawns a chaos insurgency squad, hostile to both Xcom and aliens. These guys are rather tough, so watch your step, and make sure they spend their time shooting at aliens, and not at you!

There are tier two and tier three variants of each insurgent, granting them better gear and stats.

Their Squads are made of:

Chaos Recruit
Recruits make up At least half of each Chaos Insurgency field squad. They are equipped with shotguns, hazmat vests, and later they get gas grenades. They are really mobile and they will try to flank you at all times. Later on they get better guns, and better stats.

Chaos Psion
Psionics are Insurgency's Support units. Insurgency was one of first to start experimenting with elerium, which let them create psionic troopers pretty early. At first they are armed with a stolen advent mag rifle (If you have so much of this stuff laying around why not use it?), and a solace ability. Later they upgrade to better gear and stats. Tier 2 and tier 3 psions use ammo that applies a custom effect, that is essentially a cognitohazard. They always drop this ammo for your units to use it in the field.

Chaos "Mike"
More commonly known as SCP 3033-1 instances, these killing machines are Packed in armor and Heavy equipment. They also enter a rage mode after taking damage, just like a berserker would. Mikes are also immune to any mental attacks. In mid and late game, They get even more health and armor.

All of the above start concealed, and have ability that lets them reconceal anytime they want. They will ocassionaly use it to surprise you or advent.

The Special ammo applies a "Vocabular Cognitohazard" status effect, which significantly decreases will, psioffense, and aim of those affected, while mildly boosting their defense. The Anomaly spreads to other units in 5 tiles radious and deals 1 damage per turn, but vanishes after 2 turns, if the unit isn't reinfected. Mecs are immune to both spread and effects. Scramble gear provides total immunity to This cognitohazard.

FAQ
The game froze when it went to the Chaos insurgency turn!
You didn't have the highlander installed. Please install it.

Enemies Appear with solid black parts of uniforms!
That means i screw up shader compiling thing when i updated the mod. Please write a comment if that's the case!

The mission ended when there were still some of these enemies left?
Please use new Faction Anchor Mod:

Team Changer Config
If You read The Ouroboros Cycle and/or you think that Chaos Insurgency are the good guys, you can force their squads to be friendly in the configs. All you have to do is change TeamChangerValue=0 to TeamChangerValue=1 in XComGameData of this mod. location of the config is Steam/SteamApps/Workshop/268500/1781154099/configs/XComGameData.ini

Funny thing I had in my recent playthrough was that I attacked the Chaos Insurgency's HQ but instead of CI's I had Maz Hatters.
I know I'm a bit late, but the best way to prevent them from spawning on the same mission is to use the multiple sitreps mod and put the raider factions into categories, so they can't be rolled together. This prevents two different raider factions from spawning, but if you do it right, you can let them spawn on foundation or goc lockdown sitreps. That way, they fight each other if you're lucky. I got a 5 way fight with the GOC, Eta-10, the Lost and MOCX that way.

You could have one of them on the resistance team (and friendly to XCom). Otherwise, it would take a code rewrite to change which team they are on. That's the issue, both mods -- pretty much all raider mods -- use "Team_Two" as the team they appear on. Everything on the same team is friendly to each other, so (unless you change it) raider mods disallow showing up at the same time as other raiders.

ok so I had a mission in which Chaos Insurgency and MTF Asimov's Lawbringers were (quite literally) fighting shoulder to shoulder. How do I make MTF and CI fight each other?

@Puma_The_Great The cognitohazard ammunition can be very strong. I took soldiers that could stay hidden on untimed missions with lost. I use Proficiency Class marksmen with the blindside ability and reapers for some missions alone. The marksman uses the ammunition and the effect of the ammunition truly spreads like the plague. It would be less effective if lost were immune to the effect of the ammunition.
