Edit : the last two screenshots were taken with the mod "Empire Nuke Cannon" made by Bacon God. But I advise you to avoid abuse it with my mod. Too many explosions will drastically reduce your framerate.

Description:

Hello, Mother of all bombs has the simple objective of making the explosion of doomrockets closer to a current nuclear explosion (with a touch of warhammer) by modifying some parameters.

I was indeed frustrated with the graphic effect of the initial doomrocket, whose animation although cool seemed to me much too short and having too little impact. I was also inspired by my personal joy at lauching tactical nuclear missiles in the good old game World in Conflict.


Changes:

- The crater stays much longer on the ground.
- The duration of the explosion is much longer and the nuclear cloud is persistent.
- The initial explosion is much larger, with thousands of debris flying to the sky.
- The initial flash and the shock wave extend much further.
- The look of doomsphere explosions on the campaign map is more "apocalyptical".

Note it's all about my personal taste.


Installation :

The mod will probably not work if you just hit the subscribe button.

I advise you to download the following file and place it in the data folder of your game :

Issues:

Please take into consideration that the mod may be buggy at times, as the nuclear cloud may sometimes suddenly disappear near the end of the animation or with some camera angles

Also note that I have not fully tested the mod, but it should work with all those that do not change the appearance of doomrockets (should be compatible with most of them).

The explosion can slow down some computers.

It's only a graphical mod, there is no gameplay modifications (except on the map visibility of course).

@lechkingofdead it's balanced so that you don't wipe an entire army or garrison, Skryre is already easy enough

i only request to make the doom rocket bloody be as apperintly it still only hits the tiny znoe it does like you lunching a FUCKING nuke, like ya insta kos entire bases bits BUT shouldent a nuke be more than a single fucking block of a town. like i agree its often to small to be of use

Yeah it LOOKS amazing, it's just too obviously a facade when used.

it is too....apocalyptical...the mushroom is almost half the size of the map, but the damage only apply to the original area.....emmm...would you please make a 50% size effect?

I tested it, nothing has changed with the latest updates so don't need to update. It should work well (and it does for me).
Don't forget to download the google drive link and place it in your game data file, or it will not working.
If the game crashes, there must be another reason, unless it is due to a too strong solicitation of the graphics card (the effect of the mod can be very heavy for some computers).
I don't see why the mod would crash the game for any other reason. Since it only changes the appearance of the doomrocket, it should be compatible with almost all other mods except those modifying the same thing.
