Description
Oasis is a basic, low-budget, airtight starter base with no rotors, pistons, mods, or DLC. Powered by both solar and wind turbines (when on planets), the base includes:
- 2 beds,
- 2 seats inside and outside,
- 2 interior turrets
- 2 small cargo containers
- 1 survival kit
- 1 basic assembler
- 1 basic refinery
- 1 O2/H2 generator
- 1 battery
- 2 wind turbines set at optimal spacing
- 6 solar panels
- 2 cryo chambers
- 1 air vent

Access to the roof for maintenance occurs via a ladder. This minimalist configuration is comprised of 315 blocks and 2,059 PCUs.

How right your are, but the alternatives are more costly. I suggest you wait on the passage blocks until you have more resources.

The use of passage blocks for decoration in the support increases the cost in iron by ~100 for each block used.
Individually minor but as a first build while still digging dirt/stone before gaining better tools and machinery this creates a hurdle. It's especially steep for Ice World survival starts.
