I've played through hundreds of user-made single player mods for Blood. If you are picky only the work of a few mappers can be held in the same regard as the original campaigns, some arguably surpass the original. Here I've weeded out mods with questionable enemy placements, nonsensical level design or mods that simply turn it into a different game. If you came here after beating the original game, looking for some really well-made mods, you came to the right place!

If you are only trying one mod for Blood, this is the one. Features stunning looking and varied maps, with lots visual detail. All three episodes finish with the most epic boss levels on the Blood engine.

Blood: Fleshed Out https://www.moddb.com/mods/blood-fleshed-out Best newcomer in years. Three episodes, though I suggest starting from episode two which plays more like the original game. It employs jumping mechanics in sections that makes map navigation a lot of fun. Top-notch combat and environments.

@Sleepy Creature Reasonable question. All listed here were tested by me in Fresh Supply at one point, except for Marrow. I recommend Raze source port for advanced users. For recent versions of Eviction NBlood is required. Purists will insist that a this or that source port must be used, but there's nothing wrong with sticking to Fresh Supply until you want to try a mod that actually requires a different port.

I'd most definetly add Trauma Therapy and Bloodlines. TT is near Deathwish levels of mindfuckery, altough the start is very weak. Bloodlines all in all mid, but has some levels that blew my mind even more than DW. Case in point: one level takes place in a black and white german impressionist silent film.

Death Wish is definitely a must for old school fans and new ones. Its what Blood 2 should have been as Civvie put it.

@Jayy lmao I considered French Meat. It has a brutal start that might put off newer players. For veterans I consider it a must-play. You put the finger on RATM. BTW Fresh Meat 2 copies RATMs style sadly. Anwyay, the RATM creator is also a megalomanic.
