Charcarodon (Close Air Support)

Description
The Charcarodon is a predator of the solar system, but not one that feeds on the strong, but rather upon the weak, the infirm, and the old. Designed for asymmetrical warfare, both in space and in the air, this gunship is loaded with all the bells and whistles that you'll need to harass your enemies into madness.

Weapons include;
6 non-reloadable rocket launchers (using Whip's Salvo script for maximum explosive saturation)
6 forward-firing gatling guns
2 downward firing gatling guns (triggered by sensor or fired manually)
1 hatch-mounted gatling gun
6 rotor-mounted warheads (sensor triggered, or use the bomb camera)
1 drone missile (air or space, but only has forward thrust, so initial aim is very important)

Defenses include;
Heavy armor throughout, to the tune of 250+ tons
3 armored decoys
Repair projector
Damage control computer (Floor Plan script)
3 crash parachutes

Scripts include;
Isy's Altitude Trigger
Whip's Weapon Salvo
Whip's Bearing & Compass
Automatic LCDs 2
Blarg's Fancy Ruler
Floor Plan
Vector Thrust 2

Crew Positions (3)
1) Gunner, in the lower cockpit
2) Pilot, in the upper cockpit
3) Operator, in the passenger seat

3 merge blocks and a connector allow the Charcarodon to carry several drones or light vehicles into battle, deploying them while in orbit or in the upper atmosphere, before descending to offer the deployed drones close air support. Several loadouts will be available, one of which is the Close Air Support loadout, which is already stored in the repair projector. Future loadouts will include Lunar Warfare, Martian Warfare, and Deep Space Warfare.

This vessel is so complicated, I wouldn't recommend it for solo play, nor for very large PvP servers, as the number of scripts could really induce lag and sim speed loss. Play around with it in creative mode to get used to the handling characteristics, which are an odd combination of nimble and ponderous, and the hotkey settings are fairly extensive and require testing. Explore the timer blocks so you know what they're doing and when. Because it has four subgrids, it isn't very survival friendly out of the box, but it includes an internal projector to help in the construction of subgrids.

After a few hundred hours in Space Engineers, this is my magnum opus, at least for the time being, a small ship gone mad, so to speak. I learned a lot building this monstrosity, which doesn't really punch hard for its weight class, but has such a variety of abilities that it can outsmart the dimwitted or unaware foe.
