Description
Based on mod Gateway Policy (1599481695) by Terberlo

Features:
  • New policy to allow vassals to build gateways in your space or in co-vassals space
  • New federation law to allow all members build gateways in other members space
  • New galactic imperium resolutions to allow emperor/council/all members to build gateways in other imperial members space
  • Build/repair gateways in space of federation co-members (if allowed by federation law)
  • Build/repair gateways in vassal's space (despite any policy/law)
  • Build/repair gateways in overlord's space (if allowed by overlord's policy)
  • Build/repair gateways in co-vassal's space of same overlord (if allowed by overlord's policy)

How To
In order to repair a foreign gateway you need to send your construction ship to the system and construct a "repair gateway" next to the damaged gateway.

To build a new gateway in foreign territory use the "Foreign Territory Gateway". The 2-step gateway construction process is a 1-step construction there completely done by your construction ship. So it is busy the full time.

Known Issue
If you load this mod in an existing savegame with existing federations, there may be neither the "prohibit" nor "allowed" law active. In this case the prohibit law is technically active.

Vanilla compatibility
Savegame compatible.
Removing the mod should not cause any issues.
Not achievement compatible.
Does not overwrite vanilla files.

I have not played the newest patch yet. But as far as I understand this mod still works. Please write here if something is not working. Currently I am not really into playing Stellaris, but if you tell me what is wrong, I am willing to update it.

Current version works all in all but I am working on an update.

Paradox has added descriptions why AI empires want or do not want to vote for a galactic community resolution. I have to add those descriptions/explanations for the resolutions that are added by this mod.

Also some minor tweaks: Building a mod-gateway uses megastructure build limit with current mod version. My update will fix it.
All in all: You can play with current version.

I also thought about removing the feature to build in vassal space because Paradox implemented it in vanilla. But without mod it is not possible that vassals could be allowed to build in overlord's space. So I leave it how it is.

One thing I would like is more options to force the AI to do stuff if you have power over them. Like have a federal law that every member needs to have at least 1 in their territory.
