Ham Galaxy Settings

Description
A global galaxy balancing mod. It adds a new config file to your game, wich gives you access to a lot of new custom settings to modify balancing and difficulty of the whole galaxy. The goal is to make the game more individual for the player / server, and to make you able to design your galaxy much more interesting and challanging without modding by your own.

I take it back, it doesn't work at all and makes the guns overpriced to hell. I really hope you will find it in your heart to allow the de-buff values,

Well, for now this should work, I still hope that you will consider allowing for debuffing though so that we don't have to fudge numbers in overly complicated ways, although the matter of fact is that you couldn't have possibly known there was going to be a guy who will make the game use worshop ships while refusing to balance it to any degree of reason, even after people tell the guy it's stupid to have 100k hull ships with 200k shields in starting areas.

Good point. Maybe I will try to enable debuffing values for more of the stats in the future.

But most of the stats already allow debuffing (ie you can set it to 0.5). Maybe try setting "npcShipVolume" to a lower value. Or you buff yourself instead by increasing "globalWeaponDps" while decreasing "npcDmgMulti" or so.

I'm sure you believe this - but I tried changing the npcShipDurability and npcShipShields to 0.5, and it does *nothing*. The description text even says it MUST be a value of 1.0 or higher. This is exactly what I was referring to in my previous comment.

@Nichtmare799 Yes, this mod allows you to set multipliers for a lot of balancing stuff - means you could set multipliers of "0.5" to devide a stat by 2.

Is there anything that allows me to make things SMALLER and or WEAKER?
I have downloaded SDK's ship generation which has 100k hull ships flying around in iron zone and I need to lower that to some manageable level. I was hoping this would help.

@Revontulet You can modify all these settings independently. Also you can increase settings limitless, if you need ships to be larger as they are on highest difficulty. Especially makes servers more individual.

What's the point in having a hull and shield modifier if you can only make it stronger? I can achieve the same results by increasing difficulty.

What value is for Pirates Scaling? NPCs ?
