Description
UPDATE 05/30/19: This asset was originally submitted to the workshop on March 8, 2019. But during the amount of time between then and now, I've discovered some new secrets behind the Source Filmmaker tool, more importantly the origin of the engineer's "Nope" sound byte. That explains how much of a TF2 player or Source Filmmaker user I am, I guess. But, oh well. Because I tried again adding in my own original sound mix in addition to newer, updated animation, I'm happy to say that this version's a whole lot better than the original, and I hope that you will enjoy it, and even enjoy using it perhaps, as well.

In early January 2010, YouTuber Jimbomcb brought us BLU engineer and his one true word of wisdom. For those who've been living under a rock, Know Your Meme's got you covered: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/nopeavi.

I've created my own version of this extremely popular meme using Source Filmmaker as believe or not, I'm currently working on a project that utilizes this meme. In addition, I'm releasing the original session file to the Source Filmmaker workshop for people to use as Jimbomcb appears to have not shared the original version of the meme with others. I'm doing this for those who feel like creating their own version, derivative, or parody of this meme, and who don't feel like starting from scratch. To all those who fit that list, I feel ya and I've got you covered.

The shared session file has been filmed and edited at 60 fps on location in Gravel Pit, like the original, with a different, original sound mix making my version stand out from the original. Features custom lip-synced facial animation using Valve's phoneme mapping feature and an additional shaky cam effect to create the illusion of it being like the action has occurred live and on the spot. The session file also includes my own custom slide whistle sound effect for the rising helmet, which is an edited version of the 5-second slide whistle sound effect that's appropriately labelled "Slide Whistle" from the sound effects portion of the YouTube Audio Library. This is included in the download.

Let me see. Is there anything else I need to know? nope.avi. I guess not. Hope you have fun with this. Can't wait to see what you all come up with! =D

@a shovel. Hi. Sorry for the long reply. Once you've subscribed to and downloaded the session file to your computer, to remove the whistle sound effect, just delete it like you would normally do. It's located in the 'Effects' track of the 'Sound' audio track group and is labelled 'slide whistle.wav.' Hope this helps.
