Description
You always wanted a Castle in a Lava Lake.... yeah, me too... so here it is :-)

Don't go into the lava, even as firebug it will kill you in a few seconds.

Map Features:

• Dangerous Lava Lake
• Earth Quake /// Vulcanic eruptions
NEW: Meteor Event
• 1 Prime Zed Spawn Point (Big Zeds only come from the cave in the front)
• 1 Trader
• Special Destructibles (Walkway in the Castle / Towers in Front of the Castle(only Explosive Damage count here)
• Amo Boxes almost only in the Castle
• 7 Collectibles

Map is special done for Endless and 12+ Player-Server. But it's not too easy in Singleplayer too ;-)

Also sometimes it feels like you're randomly playing on ice and then you're back to normal which is weird

This map looks sick, very doom like. Despite its simplicity design wise, it looks amazing, with volcanoes erupting and a very apocalyptic feeling to it. Spawns for zed are a bit far from the castle aside from a few cloth/spider spawns but they make sense so it's fine. Lots of ways to go around, a pillar in the middle to kite bosses. Honestly a very good map that I will replay for sure.

The only real downside to this map is that there are too many ammo crates so combined with the far away spawns it makes this a bit too easy but it's still a very fun and amazing looking map that I recommend 10/10.

Alright, the ladder teleportation bug is gone, which is great.

However, when I exited the castle, the ground looked like it was...glossy. Way, WAY too glossy for something that is surrounded by lava.

The Lava Lakes has only a few meters were it is solid. I made this to prevent firebug lv25 and
healer lv25 abuse the lava as zedtrap. As its mentioned in the desricption... dont go into the lava ;-)
The Map ist build with a KillZVolume right under the floor so you dont fall forever during the round. Its only possible during trader or after the boss, and this is nothing i can modify.
Thanks for the Report about the ladder, i tried it many times without issues, but maybe i will just replace it by a real stair beside the tower.

The only thing you can change about it is that lava lakes should have a solid bottom, and not be an endless void that cause you to fall off the map entirely.

I'd remove the ladder, as it's buggy and can cause excessive fall damage if you glitch in it. Mind you, this is mostly Tripwire's fault for not putting in proper ladder climbing mechanic...which they probably should've a long time ago.

A fun little map that I mostly use to hear the screaming sounds of my characters that are on fire. 9/11 would lit myself up again.

@Ben. You're not wrong with this. The whole concept for this map target MP endless games. I eant something similar in gameplay to Big green. In SP and special in survival it's not that hard. But reworking it as SP survival version could take a while. Just stay tuned next map will be also very challening on SP. 😉

i feel like this map is way too easy in solo honestly. a huge abundance of ammo, and 99 percent of zeds spawn really far away, from the same direction, with a clear sightline the whole time, and basically no risk. itd be nice to have a harder/solo version of this map. very nice work though, its a beautiful map.
