Description
The Weyland-Yutani Corporation, pioneers and innovators in colonization and terraforming, bring you Starlight Stealth Station ("S3" for short) for establishing a presence in hostile regions. Designed for planetary or asteroid use, S3's modular design is proportioned to fit into the spherical footprint of a warhead's blast radius. 10-step detailed installation instructions are provided on S3's exterior mounting blocks.

S3 has all the amenities that you've come to expect from Weyland-Yutani Corporation. The five interior levels, from top-to-bottom, are: 1) observation deck; 2) entry level with supplies and exterior access; 3) living level with rooms, mess, and toilets; 4) production level with plenty of gas generation, refining, and component production capacity, and 5) basement level with life support, cryogenics, and power generation. S3 has quarters for a staff of 20, and is protected with two gatling turrets and two internal turrets. An external connector allows ship docking for onloading/offloading materials and supplies.

When exploring unknown regions, make the smart choice with Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the leaders in offworld technology.

NOTE: S3 is modless (vanilla), and without pesky rotors or pistons.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The LCD instructions say to put the warhead at the bottom of the 8th block down, but you need to put it at the bottom of the 9th block down. Sorry for the confusion.

I used Isy's Simple Doors script: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1751168996 . You install the script in a PB and it just works right out of the box without requiring any fancy settings.

That's cool. Yeah i used one for your auto lvl script. How did you get your doors to open and auto close like you did on your mobile assault platform? That's freakin genius.

Nothing, really. I always try to put programmable blocks in for a player to use. You could use one for a door script...or not. Another could be used to with McMaster's LCD2 script. Or you could just remove them. Usually I include scripts in the PBs, but this time I didn't.

Awesome. Hey, what are the two programmable blocks for? I have yet to find out what they are targeted towards?

I counted 9 blocks down from the horizontal row of blocks located above ground level, then put the warhead on the bottom of the 9th block.

Oh, one more thing, when you say go down 9 blocks, are you including the block that was placed horizontal as well? Or is it 9 blocks starting with the first block placed down? Like if you place the horizontal 10 blocks, then go down one as per your instructions, that block you placed down counts as block number 1 of the 9?

If you ever improve on it, a small hatch in the very bottom to allow access to the underside for maybe placing reactors or more storage. But i just love the concealed idea of this BP! Glad to have creators like you around!

I’ve enjoyed trying to figure out how best to use the space created by a warhead’s “instant cave”. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome, i figured it out about 10 warheads later lol. I know i was trying it on the moon if that effects anything. Oddly i had to put the warhead down 11 blocks. Then trim just a tiny sliver around the edge. But other then that, this base is REALLY good looking and i love the concept of it! Great job!!!!

OK, I followed my own instructions (which I had to read carefully since it's been so long) and found that either I made a mistake in my instructions or something's changed with warheads. You need to put the warhead on the bottom of 9 blocks, not 8. Then it works correctly. Sorry.
