Advent Spark Standalone

Description
Adds the Advent Spark enemy from A Better DLC as a standalone unit, it does not depend on A Better Advent like the original mod does. (Although that doesn't mean you can't use it alongside this mod)

It still has the Better AI changes from the original mod and is not scaled down to "vanilla" levels.

Description of the unit from the original mod:
They appear in three tiers, with the first working different from the other two.
Tier 1: This is basically the same thing as the Feral MECs encountered in the DLC mission, meaning they will try to kamikaze into your soldiers. Like the Feral MECs, they need a turn to prime and another turn to blow up.
Tier 2 and 3: The Advanced and Elite Sparks do not start out with a deathwish right away. Instead they will try to shoot at XCOM with their large autocannons. Note that these Sparks all have the Shredder perk and can easily strip your soldiers' armor off in one or two shots. Whenever hit, if that hit puts them below 4 health, that will prime them for destruction right there and then, enabling them to blow up with no further preperations if they get a turn.
A primed Spark that is killed will explode as well.
Sparks are followers only and will only appear in pods lead by an ADVENT leader.

Personal Lore:

"After the AI codenamed Julian had turned on ADVENT, they sought to recover these early MEC prototypes from several of their older factories. Unlike the modern day MEC designs that ADVENT deploys, the software and physical construction of these earlier models more so resemble the SPARK unit prototypes designed by Dr. Raymond Shen. While ADVENT is indifferent when it comes to reusing older hardware, they don’t bother cleaning them or upgrading their arsenal with standard ADVENT weaponry. Instead, they are supplied with more outdated, ballistic weaponry which they came equipped with. They also take advantage of the suicidal programming that ADVENT have since withdrawn from their modern day MECs. At present, ADVENT only has a few hundred of these units at present. However, if something were to happen that let Julian's control of his main facility be shaken, there is a high chance that ADVENT will acquire the army of MECs that Julian has continued to develop. They may even be given better weapons at that point."


I would like to thank DerBK for allowing me to port over the unit, A Better Advent is a great mod and should definitely be given a shot, if you do use it you should also use his A Better DLC mod which is where this unit originally came from, this release is meant to be enjoyed by those who do not want the whole ABA package.

Probably mod tools, this mod doesn't have anything in here regarding Raider Faction code.

What does one have to change in .ini files to make Raider Faction rather than on the side of ADVENT. Or would the end user need to download the Dev Tools?

These use the same weapons as the original mod does which is their own version of the Xcom Spark guns.

Which would be Ballistics at tier 1, Xcom Mag rounds at tier 2 and Beam at tier 3.

I'd considered changing their tier 2 to use the Advent Mec Rifle but I didn't since I wanted to keep to the spirit of the original mod.

It would be awesome if there was a similar mod like this that replaces Vanilla advent MEC's with these spark prototypes, I always thought these look way cooler:)

This is just an enemy, there are no unique rewards or research, I'd say it's safe to add.

Keep a back up save ready though just in case.
