Real Time Offline

Description
Real Time Offline works both online and offline.
For use with Steam's Offline Mode, Origin, Windows Store, repacks, etc.
DON'T EXPECT ANY MORE UPDATES HERE — THEY'RE NOT LIKELY. DIY.

Manifest
This is a modified version of dymanoid's Real Time mod. Check that link for description of the original mod's functionality. This version here doesn't require Steam Workshop to operate, which means it works offline as well as online, with Steam Workshop or even entirely outside of Steam. Do not report issues with this mod to dymanoid — the creator of the original mod, we are not affiliated.

Usage
This version is supposed to work fine as is, just being subscribed to in Workshop when launching from Steam in Online Mode but will conflict with the original if you are subscribed to both at the same time.
If you intend to use this mod offline or off-Steam, move the whole mod folder located at "…\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\1749971558\" (depending on what disk the game is installed to) over to "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods\". The path then should end in "\1749971558\" once you move it there.
IF YOU DIDN'T INSTALL THE MOD DIRECTLY THROUGH STEAM BY SUBSCRIBING, THE DIRECTORY MAY HAVE A DIFFERENT NAME — RENAME IT TO \1749971558\..
Some repacks just don't wanna work with this mod. You might have to try other ones.
You could also try using symbolic links if you know what you're doing.

Compatibility
Compatibility patches should now work with this update!
The mod dynamically applies compatibility patches if it detects that you've enabled mods, that conflict with it without those patches.
IN ORDER FOR COMPATIBILITY CHECKS TO WORK, THE CONFLICTING MODS HAVE TO BE IN DIRECTORIES NAMED WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE WORKSHOP ID NUMBERS JUST HOW STEAM NAMES THEM. MODS IN DIRECTORIES WITH TEXT NAMES WILL BE SKIPPED FROM COMPATIBILITY CHECKING (BUT MENTIONED IN THE DEBUG CONSOLE).

There are 5 categories of known conflicting mods:
Hard conflicts will result in malfunction.
Real Time (Offline or not) will adapt to the rest, although it's still not strictly "recommended" to use any of them. Real Time (Offline or not) honestly just does a lot of what these mods do, and does it better.

There's also this outdated FAQ by dymanoid if it's of any use to anyone.

Workaround screenshots
In case where due to game updates or user error the mod still doesn't show any text in mod options menu but checkboxes and sliders are still there, screenshots of all its tabs will also be included.

Development details
The first version of Real Time mod was produced from the compiled RealTime.dll binary, downloaded from dymanoid's Workshop item by way of subscribing, editing it by hand in a disassembler. Rest of the required files are copied over as is. There is no automated system set up to modify new versions if dymanoid releases updates.
The latest was built in MVS from dymanoid's public GitHub repository.
I hate working on this here project. It's a torture to me. I hope I never get back to it again.
There is, however, a "git.diff" file distributed with the mod, which you can use to replicate my changes to the code and work from there if you want to update or improve this fork in the furure.
It's not enough to publish a separate public git fork repository, so there...
Anyway, you have my blessing to pick up where I left and contact me for assistance if you need any.

I'm not sure if it's not working with sunset harbor... but I had no errors when used on fresh map and the time flow was going on without problems but there was no town/city of course but if it requires update I'll be happy with it.

If there's someone out there knowledgable in coding or the author can do it himself even if he said "DON'T EXPECT ANY MORE UPDATES" please do it. I'm not working in real life in office while coding stuff so I have to believe in mod authors for each game I play they update their mods.
