Description
Break the lights, hide in the darkness, and get the silent kill you always wanted as a Traitor.
All possible in this map. Your turn = Your game. Let the bodies LIT the floor.

And remember: Where there's darkness, there's danger...

FEATURES:

  • DESTRUCTIBLE LIGHTNING: The light in the corridors can be destroyed by shooting at them (The round must be started in order to do that). The only place where you cannot shot the lights is in the yellow lit rooms - they can be used to avoid the darker areas.

  • VENTILATION: Eeyup! As boring as it sounds, the map has a ventilation for you to crawl around in. Note that I made the ventilation as boring as I could in order to prevent players from overusing them. (Trust me - we tested it).
    Also, the ventilation cannot be entered till the round has started!

  • LOWER AREA: A lower area is accessible via the ladders that are scattered around the map. Use it to your advantages like: Escaping, Hiding bodies and so on. You should scout the other exits and get a basic understanding where they are located for you to have a clean getaway. (Note that you cannot shoot through the metal ceiling nor see who is behind it even though the texture is transparent).

  • HISTORY (If you're interested...)

    The purpose of the map was to test and see how well the Source engine can handle several light entities that are destructible. I was disappointed how bad it performed on my map; lightning errors almost everywhere - but I managed to fix some heavy areas. You may notice some lightning errors somewhere around the map, but it is something that can be ignored. (I did what I could in order to prevent them).

All I have is an unknown version in one of my many hard drives lying around. Your best chance of getting what you want is to rely on a decompiler. The map is not complex in any way; a decompiler would probably do a good job.

Is there any way that you can send me an editable version of this map so I can take the vent/light covers off? I won't publish it or anything, I'd just like to have a version that doesn't require playing in the TTT gamemode. Great map anyway!

Aye, I'm aware of those silly problems and have done nothing to fix them, mainly because the interest faded away after a couple of updates. Hope it's not too unplayable as it's a very fun map :)

Map is pretty nice, Although some of the doors seems to share names/ parents/ slaves, and when you open one, there will be another door that opens, and some of the double doors do not work very well. Also some of the vents force fall damage on exit. I enjoy a good vent, and a little something, maybe a rope, doesn't have to go all the way down if you want to keep it one way.

Ah, ok. Cool map anyway. Nice job
