Oracle: The Deer Lord

Description
PLEASE NOTE:
I no longer play Don't Starve Together.
It is extremely unlikely that I will ever update this mod.
- Bee

HOW TO SUMMON SIBYL:
Craft her eye under the magic tab. She will drop it upon her death and you can find it on the map, but if you had this mod active prior to the newest update this may not be so.
Give the eye any piece of raw meat. Bone shards, rabbits, and birds are also valid offerings.

Traits:

TRAIT
DESCRIPTION
Part of the herd.
Oracle gains sanity from being around other deer. Deer will also approach them. Sanity is lost when a deer dies anywhere in the world. Similarly, sanity is also lost - albeit less - when a crow dies nearby.
To the fairest.
One of Oracle's starting item, a golden apple, may be used to lead Touched Deer. Place it on the ground in front of the target deer. Any suitable deer within range will approach the apple. Picking it up again will result in the deer following you for as long as it is in your inventory. PLEASE NOTE: This currently only works with deer who have been attuned or previously used as a vessel.
Deer possession
As an additional option for resurrection, Oracle starts with a Cervid Attuner. Giving any deer the Cervid Attuner will prime the deer for possession by Oracle's ghost later.
Warm fur coat.
Their fur keeps them warm in the winter. The trade off is that summer heat is a problem.
Custom companion: Sibyl
Sibyl is Oracle's devoted companion who is never far from their side. She will fight in their defense and gives off a sanity aura for Oracle alone. If Sibyl dies, however, she takes all of Oracle's sanity with her, and Oracle willl be unable to regain full sanity again until Sibyl is summoned once more.
Has trouble maintaining a stable presence.
When Oracle's sanity is low, their ability to remain stable on this plane slips. They will begin teleporting short distances at random until sanity is regained.
Insanity aura.
Those many eyes, staring unblinkingly in all directions, make nearby players nervous.
Afraid of the dark.
Oracle's nighttime sanity drain is faster than average.
Custom dialogue.
They have a lot to say!
Quick on their feet.
They are a deer, after all.

Starting Inventory:
*Golden Apple
*Cervid Attuner

Basic Stats:
HEALTH: 150
HUNGER: 123
SANITY: 85

Configuration options:
*None

Planned changes:
*Change animation upon resurrection via attuned deer from that of a ghost receiving a heart to the dazed corpse revival of a touch stone.
*Limit deer spawning instead of skeletons only to when Oracle possessed one to revive.
*Fix and re-enable the ability for untouched deer to follow the golden apple. I had to disable this due to a bug.

Known bugs:
*If a deer is on screen with Oracle, any other livestock animals (beefalo, koalefant, volt goat) who also happen to be on screen may gravitate towards Oracle.

Permissions:

We are greenhorns without any background in coding whatsoever and are learning as we go! Please be patient.

Note that this is a character for a friend. Due to the self-indulgent nature of character mods, their word is ultimately law in regards to what happens with Oracle.

Common complaints:
*They have "horns" (those are antlers)
*They're voiced by Windows XP
*They're trans and use neutral pronouns
*They're not for you. You are welcome to play as them, but you, as an individual, never once crossed my mind in the creation of this mod and I don't give a damn if you like and use it or not. Oracle is a custom mod made with with the specifications I was given. The artist and I received permission to share them with the public, and that's what's happening here: We're sharing the result of our hard work and untold hours, for free, in case someone else just happens to enjoy and benefit from it. If you like Oracle as they are, then great! I'm happy you're happy. If you find that any intentional detail "ruins" the mod for you, then kindly unsubscribe and shuffle along. There are two ways to have a mod made to your own exact specifications: make it yourself or find someone you can pay to do that for you.

Transphobic attacks and comments requesting changes to intentional aspects of this mod will be deleted and/or reported at our discretion.
