CO 08 Operation GreenStorm

Description
Remake of original but to accomodate 8 players.
Medium Squad, Urban Combat in Altis' old capital. Move South from the mountains and search the city for enemy weapon dumps. Destroy them anyway you can, then evac the city.

Autosaves at key points.
Requires Dev Build version.
Revive system currently inplace to test. No respawn... only revive, requires firstaid kit

Nice mission but it sucks hard that the fog is different on every single client - some have normal sight in the city, others can't see 50 metres. Other than that good job.

very cool mission, a sneaky part at the begining and a rambo part at the end ^^

you just have to destroy one ammo box, the one that you can use!

lost the laser designators through revives as well, otherwise fun mission until we couldn't figure out how to destroy the weapon dumps - 2 grenades didn't seem to work.

My gaming community increased the slots and last night 10 of us had a very enjoyable evening with it. The mission is simple, doesn’t have tons of content, no vehicles or helos (until the very end), no time wasted choosing weapons because you had to make do with what you came in with. However the low fog early dawn start with enemy vehicle lights and infantry flashlights sometimes giving away their position really sets the mood. And the story line along with numerous targets keeps it interesting with sufficient action. Thank you for making it.

No worries, I'm used to random inventory losses in ARMA. There still seem to be a few inventory bugs for BIS to fix anyhow, let's put it down to that.

@tiger_walts i have released a 4 man version of this mission also though the difference is only the change in playables.

the medic should have spawned with 15, 1 in gun, 2 in uniform/vest and then 12 in the backpack. not sure what happened to only leave you with 7. this is the first time ive heard of the problem so please take this as an arma issue and not my mission making... 7 mags is definately not enough lol. the revive error ive known to loose a magazine or so 2 but never heard of it dropping LDs. sorry about that.

4 of us just played this. We wasted 30 mins at the start and lost the light/fog advantage. Ended up fighting our way in. Plenty of urban combat. Took 1hr 50mins in all.

I spawned as the medic and had only 7 mags, other squad members had about 25. I Took a Katiba to make sure I had enough ammo. Revive script also seemed to steal items from revived players. The Laser Designators got lost to this.

Really enjoyed the mission as a whole. You absolutely need to work together and so many memorable moments in all that fighting.
