BEI C-Series Interceptor - Model 2c

Another retrofitted BEI Classic for a new era of Space Engineers.

This is an evolution of the C-Series vehicular line, and is a vast departure and improvement from the predecessor Model 2b Interceptor...

As you know, an interceptor is suppose to do just that. Intercept a target, then return to base. This vehicle is designed with that premise in mind. Engagement with this vehicle will be very short, and like a knife fight or a gun duel. Say a corvette class vessel is coming for your base. You want to knock out some of those turrets before the corvette comes within engagement range. Hop into the Model 2c, fly to the target and start unloading those 22 forward facing gatlings at it. I guarantee there will be a shredded hole in front of the business end of that attack.

Since it is only made for short interception engagement, the Model 2c carries around 250 boxes of ammo safely before performance is affected. You also got about 15 minutes of flight time before recharge, which is more then enough to unload your package of @ 500 rounds a second towards your target. The Model 2c has virtually no frontal armor, so to compensate for that it has better braking thrust then forward thrust. So if you are travelling towards your target at 100mps, start to brake at 1200 meters and engage at 950 meters. You will be fully stopped by the time AI turrets return fire, so you can U turn and be out of counter battery fire with minimum damage. Or just destroy the area around the turret that is firing at you. He who shoots first and aims true wins a gun battle, after all.

Nothing more to say. Load this vehicle up with bullets, go out shoot the enemy. Make sure you aim true, for that is what the Model 3c is built for. Return to base if you survive!
