Hex: Kevin - SMG4 Tour (beta)

Kevin Lerdwichagul is the brother of Luke Lerdwichagul, otherwise known as the Memelord SMG4. He s also the co-founder and CEO of Glitch Productions, as well as the co-writer/producer for the web series Meta Runner . Yet, as successful as he is, Keven s never appeared in any of SMG4 s vids as an in-game character; just as the voice actor of Fishy Boopkins and I wanted to change that.

For the SMG4 3 Million Subscribers Collab , my 190th Abstract Distract installment is an entry that introduces Kevin as a reskin of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild , based off Kevin s SMG4 Tour pin accessory s colors. The original model was uploaded by currently-named Auditor, therefore I take no credit in making the model itself; just the hexed reskin.

Even though I managed to compile the model as an actual reskin instead of putting the texture materials on a dupe file, the model itself is still flawed, having these problems:

- The eye textures are actually red; they just look greyish because I couldn t understand Auditor s complicated vmt files for the eyes to have them showing properly.
- Without the original BotW Link model, Kevin Link shows up with missing textures.
- Some of the screenshots shown with Kevin Link having a different hairstyle is because I used Advanced Bone Tool to change specific hair bone selections then made a dupe file of that; I have no clue on how to use a modeling program properly (and I ve tried multiple times, too) in order to make that the actual hairstyle.
- Personally I think there ought to be more clothing selections for BotW Link in general, as shown on The Models Resource, probably as Bonemerged props; I have other, possibly better reskin ideas for Kevin Link that way.

It s for the reasons stated above that I didn t bother to make a reskinned version of Auditor s playermodel BotW Link; my version is a beta ragdoll only, so I e-mailed the model files straight to the Glitch Productions team to see if they can fix what I couldn t figure out (if they even consider doing that).

In any case, at long last, Bob the Garo is no longer the only Legend of Zelda character in the SMG4 cast and SMG4 himself finally has someone from his real-life family to be involved in his episodes; just in time for the 3 Million Subscriber milestone, too!

By the way, for those of you who don t understand the Hits the Box! line in the artwork, I m referencing the live-action series on SMG4 s channel Hitbox ; IT S A BAD JOKE. I even found a photo of the gym room where they film to use for in this background; Invincible HQ.
