Hawker Siddeley Trident - Trijet Airliner

Description
The Hawker Siddeley Trident is a real life trijet airliner that made its first flight in 1962 and its last in 1995. It was the first ever designed t-tail trijet, and competed with the Boeing 727. After a series of delays, despite being viewed as more advanced, the aircraft only sold 117 models, with Boeing selling 1,832- having entered market production earlier.

This Trident is based on the 1C- a plane that operated under BEA, and British Airways, and features the real life registry code G-ARPE. Included is a fully functional three seat cockpit, a cabin with 24 seats (six first, the rest economy), a catering area with crew jumpseat, and a toilet. The cockpit features an autopilot by Tajin.

Maximum speed- with both throttles at 100% is 200+ M/S. The fuel tank holds 20337.75 units- enough to go the Arctic from all of the bases in creative mode. I haven't yet added a refuel option- this will be coming very soon though!

This plane is a heavily modified version of Rowan's Dassault 900 (https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1639386408) - I have his permission to upload this. Nonetheless, you should download his original plane- it's one of my favourite planes on the workshop.

The in-game plane has a scuttle mode designed by Rowan- embedded into the catering unit at the rear of the plane. This will overload the engines- which will explode and make the plane crash. This is not reversible. An alarm will also sound. Emergency exits- should you need them- are above the wing. There are enough parachutes for all of the plane's passengers. If you crash into the water- the plane is fully watertight until you open the doors.

The livery featured on this plane (and my other plane- the BAC One Eleven) is based on BEA's 'speedjack' livery used in the 1970s until their merger into British Airways. It also takes in elements of BAC's test livery for the One Eleven.

You will see in the pictures that I have also made a Swiss Air Trident (*they never used Tridents) as well as a custom 'Crown' livery- the same fictional company that operates my ships. I can upload these too if anyone wants them- I'm also happy to take livery requests! I am considering making a fictional coastguard/rescue or cargo version of this too.

DO NOT under any circumstances, re-upload this aircraft or use its elements as your own without explicit permission from both myself and Rowan. If you edit the plane enough to make it your own project and agree to give proper credit, there's a chance we'll agree to let you anyway- so long as you ask first, there really is no excuse to do so without asking!

Let me know if you have any issues- or if you have any suggestions RE: livery/versions of the plane.
