So...
The basic idea was to update my ship "Magellan" (first published in Sept. 2016 and still going strong - and updated)
but eventually I decided to pretty much gut much of the ship, move stuff around, add more features, thrusters and working spaces, and change the design of the "wings" so as to be more functional. The end result is the MAG-X1.
Enjoy!

Anyway, bro, I'll leave you with a suggestion to check out Die Antwoord. Assuming you never heard of them, of course. I discovered them a few months ago and they're brilliant. Fatty Boom Boom is a favourite track of mine by them. The video is insane. They're South African and their sound is evolved and totally fresh. I love spreading new tunes to people. It's a friendly gesture, in my head. Plus, it's a good Karma vibe. =) Why not? One more. Paolo Nutini, Iron Sky. Watch the Abbey Road Live Session vid on YouTube. That song moves me. Peace.

@wreznor. Agreed. Most vs tracks tend to be a little weak. Either a mix works, or it doesn't. There's no in between it appears. That said, I loved your editing because it was often in time with the beats. In particular, the close up shot of the astronaut wearing his helmet and bopping his head. Nice touch incorporating discreet clips of the two groups in the background. But, yes, ultimately you can't hold a good tune down and you never tire of it. Then, over time, it still sounds as fresh as the day it was made and you know it's a true classic. Perfect example; Deee Lite, Groove Is In The Heart. Gem of a tune, if you ask me. Not only is that song timeless, even the video doesn't look dated and it was made in 1990! Nuff said. lol

Thanks hydro, i'm glad you enjoyed this ship. It has always had a good, faithful following.
Thanks Cheeky! I enjoy making videos with Empyrion, tho it is wonky as heck.
Thanks byte, most "vs" mashups aren't that good, but this one really rocks. There's a link on the youtube page for the original mix. I did the weird part at the front to pad it a bit and give a little lull before "...Let the beat drop!" so I could match it with the thrusters being powered on (an ode to the original Magellan vid which featured 'Starrider' by Foreigner). I've listened to this song a hundred times or so while making this and i still like it...so...its awesome!

Wicked ship. However. A seriously choice soundtrack in the clip. Truly exceptional. Beastie Boys vs Dandy Warhols. Intergalactic is a classic. Sabotage is a masterpiece. I could go on. The Dandy Warhols, We Used To Be Friends. Brilliant. 13 Tales. Every track. Perfection, in my ears. True desert island disc, meaning an LP with all flawless tracks. Even with such a strict criteria, my list is extensive. Damn! I love music! Feel sorry for people who don't get goosebumps when they listen to it. It's like being unable to taste food. It must be horrible to be denied such a pure, human experience. Anyway, thanks dude. Peace!
