S21B Kippure

Description
A missile-boat intended to provide AA-support to a swarm or flagship. More expensive version, meant to fight Steel Striders - featuring defences against guided missiles and torpedos.

Top speed is about 33m/s in good weather, and stays controlable in any kind of weather. Has a roll-PID, but stays stable even without it.

Detection is one 90° camera front, one 360° camera, and a wireless snooper. Has an inter-vehicle transmitter.
Munition warners in all directions (side and top ones hidden with mimics).

Countermeasures:
  • Flares and radar-decoys: 3m S-missiles in the bow. 5 flare-modules, 5 radar-decoy modules.
  • Sonar decoy. M-class buoy, set to float at 13m depth. 120s lifetime.
  • Chaff, activating automatically when a missile is within 1km. 0.1 mat/s usage when active.
  • Signal jammer, 250 power draw. Connected wirelessly - activates automatically when a missile is within 150m

Named after the mountain Kippure in county Wicklow, Leinster, Ireland.

Not if you use a jet to keep the nose down
Allthough I might try angling the props on the next design to avoid having to use jets.

Nicely made, It is a challenge to make a small boat fast and stable.
