Create your challenge with the challenge mode editor
Before you upload your challenge to the steam workshop
You can go into your appdata/roaming/axolot games/scrap mechanic folder
And find all of your local files (blueprints you created and saved on your lift, any mods you've made, any challenges you've made, your survival save files and creative save files)

There is a folder in there for your created challenge
Inside that folder is the image file for the thumbnail
You can replace that with any image you want

In the challenge builder, place a chest down and press E on the chest
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the available items in the section that says "Backpack"
All the tools are there at the bottom. Not any side section, that doesn't exist in the chest menu.

The Tools section is the one at the side, with stuff like the lift, connect tool, hammer etc. In creative mode, it also has a spudgun. However, you can't access the Tools bar when opening the Challenge Chest, nor can you access your hotbars. And about the hammers, they are still usable in challenge mode.

You are scrolling to the BOTTOM of the inventory you have available...right?
When you open to put things in the chest, in the editor..
And only during that time, they should show up at the bottom
