It is not added to all your soldiers automatically for free. It may appear as a random training center perk on the XCOM row, if you have soldier classes with a true XCOM row.
I have not edited the prescribed file.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks so much for the prompt reply!
That is all pretty much what I expected, but I appreciate you sharing what you know. I will keep on doing what I've been doing then. Thanks again!
Thanks, I'll fix the Import Text thing.
> several other ImportText errors for various mods
Generally ImportText errors indicate the mod author has formatted their config files incorrectly, and likely stuff works not as intended. It may be harmless or it may be breaking, depends on each case.
> Unhandled localization tag
Again, can be harmless and even unavoidable, or they can indicate something is broken. Worst case scenario some in-game descriptions will be missing stuff like numbers. You won't be able to do anything about it either way.
> X2AbilityTemplate XXXXX is invalid
Can't tell whether it's benign or not without knowing why the game considers it invalid. Most likely you can't do anything about it.
> Compiling XXXXX at runtime..
Those indicate the author has built their mod incorrectly and cause severe lag when the game has to do these first time after launch. You can't fix it on your end, but inform the author if possible.
Is this something that should be fixed?
I also have a more general question, if anyone minds chiming in. I'm getting several other ImportText errors for various mods, as well as some "Unhandled localization tag" and "X2AbilityTemplate XXXXX is invalid" errors. Is it generally worth hunting these down and correcting them if I want to minimize crashes, stuttering, conflict, etc. in my game? There are also numerous "Compiling XXXXX at runtime..." warnings, which I assume are generally benign.
It does not remove shadowstep, no.
You can find them in mod's config or the in-game description.
For that matter you don't give exact numbers for Rabbit itself.
