Info:
The Shinta Corporation, though specializing in material transport, does possess its own defense force. Used for anti-pirating operations and corporate security, these ships are particularly unique among Humanities many factions.

As is the most obvious design feature, the rings of the ships serve many purposes. Not only do they function as the ships backup power supply, but also as the ships primary deflector hubs, and this in addition to the ships warp field stabilizers.

And although their ships are considered technologically inferior to other factions, the reliability and ease of maintenance of these ships are known far and wide as being the best of the best.

This is because each section of the ship is self-contained with their own backup systems. Couple this with the backup power supply during the event of an emergency and you have a ship that you must completely destory in order to officially take it out of combat.

Additional Info:
Finally got around to making one of the combat ships of the Shinta Corporation. Shinta is a independent subsidiary of the C-1 and has close ties to the C-1. Ultimately, they are not military-oriented but can and do run combat operations for various reasons; mostly joint-ops against pirate organizations.

Gun-wise, the "angled" gun platforms are best served for the defense guns. This give them enough coverage (even with the rings) to at least have one gun at a time engage a inbound torpedo. The top-most turret mounts are where Shinta would stick their mainguns. Lower ones being dedicated to missile launchers. And the torpedo/missile bay are just that. They are one and the same lore-wise, but you can put missile launchers there if you wish.

Also, just to throw this out there, you can cut and splice sections of this one model to create various smaller designs of Shinta ships. Naturally, there are different modular section varieties out there (non that i've build yet), but basically the vast majority of Shinta Vessels are modular in design. <Consider how their transport functions, about the same.

P.S. Left hollow for easy customization.

Also, I never actually updated a previous design before. So, if I messed it up, just let me know. I kinda' just guessed without looking up HOW TO do it.

Thanks Anubitfire for the critique. I updated the design with interior components and it now has official stats for operating in-game. Tested the individual sections (if half-hazardly) to ensure that you can piece them together and the ship still remains fully functional.

The framework/stone idea will be something that i will work to incorporate into future builds and... probably something that I should have done so with the remaining space in this one. A few smaller areas for improving one or two stats and several smaller ones in the turret "towers".

I "mostly" build these things for the sole purpose of having a 3D model on computer that i can use for reference so... i tend to get lazy after the shell is completed. But thanks again for the suggestions though and will be sure to keep them in mind going forward.

Visually this is a stunning ship! The Arcs of fire and Integrity fields are top notch! Unfortunatly that's all this ship has going for it. It flies like a pregnant walrus. Leaving the ship hollow sounds like a good idea in theory but in practice its a pain in the backside to customize on the fly. Starting from a base that performs well and is filled with cheap replaceable blocks (such as stone and framework) is much better. This allows you enter creative and replace large sections of ship on the fly. Also as a shipwright, you can replace them all with stone to see how you ship will perform with heavy components so that you can add things like intertial dampeners, engines and thrusters so that all your users have to do is swap out cheap blocks for shields/cargo/generators/etc.

The design itself is sexy, but it needs some work.
