Description
"Mako" 2 Person Exploration/Working Submersible 2 Crew

UPDATED VERSION - for use with 'ODYSSEY DSV'
Includes integrated deck charging points.

Startup
1) Board submersible
2) Enter pilot seat
3) Switch 'Master Breaker' to 'ON'
4) Switch on lights (as appropriate)
6) Secure Port & Strb. Manipulators
7) Use WSAD+L/R to navigate.


Dive Operation
1) Secure top hatch
2) Set desired cruise speed using speed hold function (Max dive speed - 8kts)
3) Adjust ballast so that sub begins to dive (1 - Flood Ballast)
4) Monitor rate of dive with 'Vertical Speed (fps)' indicator to set appropriate dive rate (Recommended dive rate -1.0fps)
5) Once close to desired depth, turn off '1 - Flood Ballast'
6) Adjust ballast with '3 - Flood Ballast Trim' & '4 - Blow Ballast Trim' so that Vertical Speed approaches 0 (zero)
7) Once sub ballast is trimmed out, use vertical thrusters to dive/ascend.
8) To fully surface, use '2 - Blow Ballast' and/or vertical thrusters. (Max 'Ballast Blow' depth - 900ft)

NOTE:
# Changing cruise speed may require ballast adjustment.
# Neutrally bouyant @ 0kts with ~5728 ballast.


LOADING
1) Bring the 'Mako' to the rear of the Odyssey
2) Switch on the recovery connectors (6 from pilot seat)
3) Switch 'OFF' Master Breaker
4) Transfer to Odyssey and position the A-Crane hoists over the Mako, lower together and switch 'ON' the connectors
5) The Mako should attach if positioned correctly
6) Lift the Mako over the deck and position over a deck bay
7) For the deck bay you want to use 1, 2 or 3, turn on the 'White' deck connectors.
8) Position the Mako until the connectors align, you should hear a 'thunk'
9) Switch 'OFF' A-Crane hoist connectors
10) From the Mako turn the recovery connectors 'OFF'
12) Check Battery is at 100% or charging to 100%

LAUNCHING
1) From Mako , switch 'ON' the recovery connectors (6 from pilot seat)
2) From Odyssey, position A-Crane hoists over Mako and turn 'ON' hoist connectors
3) Release Mako from deck by turning off 'white' deck connectors for the bay
4) Lift Mako and clear the deck, lower into water at rear
5) Release Mako by turning 'OFF' A-Crane hoist connectors

RECOVERY
To recover reverse the steps to launch
