Description
The 5-7 line of ships is a group of ships built to the 5-7 specification that gives the ships uniform size and docking characteristics.
Ships in this specification:
  • Have a hull height and width of 5 blocks that can be skinned (eg: windows running lights plates and flush button panels) out to 7 blocks
  • Have a max length of 14 + 2 reserved for layers for docking where the merge block is the only part that can have an attachment point that faces out
  • Cannot have have thruuusters in a t pattern centered on the front and back of the ship

  • Have a merge block centered on the end of the ship with a connector immediately below for docking
  • Have a docking capacity to any other 5-7 ship using only a 2 block spacer
  • Have a docking capacity to a flat plain using only a 3 block spacer
