Infinite Golden Keys with video (profile.bin in the video description)

Go to C:\Users\*USER*\Documents\my games\Borderlands Game of the Year\Binaries\SaveData
Right click profile.bin and set it to read only
Go into the game and open the box to your hearts content (your keys will decrease)
When you have finished, go back into your documents and uncheck the read-only option to restore your used golden keys

My profile bin with keys on it is in the description of the video
This does work. It prevents your own keys from depleting, it doesn't add any keys to your account. Download my profile.bin from the video description for keys if you don't have any.

found a way to reset my keys moding the bin file and keeping my guns XD, I remeber I unlocked close to 400 chests just randomly opening it whenever I felt my guns would not cut it.dont play it anymore but there are at least 3 different game and save mods that fool that bin file keeping count of the keys, just that non of them are in steam, they be like willowtree for BD or SaveEdit for BD2

it looks cool, but by freezing your save data you dont get to keep anything in game either, I suppose its useful when you want to try crazy stuff you dont want it to save like trying a crazy jump to get somewhere into the game only for the sake to see if its possible without loosing tons of money, other than that I dont see why you want to freeze up your profile from saving anything you grab in game.

The profile.bin stores your gold keys, character customisations and game settings (graphics etc). Much like how Borderlands 2 and Presequel work. :borderlands2:

Is there any point in unchecking the read only button because according to your comment on the video the profile.bin only stores the keys?
