Updated for the Silent & the Fury
The Bretonnia Overhaul and Unit Pack: Definitive Edition combines my Bretonnia mods, including my rework and many unit mods, whilst adding to unique content including technology that specifically effects custom units and other improvements.

The experience has been designed to make Bretonnia more interesting with more play styles and unit options on offer, whilst trying not to ruin the original design intention of the faction. The combination of unit additions, additional technology, breadth of balance changes and quality of life improvements will make your Bretonnia campaigns less repetitive and more fun!




Definitive Edition Features:
• A large array of custom Infantry and Ranged units for custom battles and campaign.
• Large changes to existing technologies and campaign events.
• Bretonnia's economy revamped to be more fun and interesting
• Many balance changes to core units, such as more lore accurate grail knights.
• An extension to the tech tree, 32 new technologies!
• Constant updates and balance tests - Expect future additions, including units and reworks to the existing content!
• Vibrant unit cards with handcrafted elements for each of the custom units, as well as updated unit cards for existing Bretonnian Units.


• Contains a large revamp for the technologies and economy featured in my Technology Extension mod and Bretonnia rework mod.
• A huge rebalance and rework for the custom units featured in this mod, including unit caps and ways to increase them.
• Bretonnian factions now have new bonuses that further diversify them, such as improved foot squires for Alberic's armies and a larger unit cap for Royal units as Louen.



Includes units such as...


Men-at-Arms (Longbows)
• A Tier 3 light infantry that shoot volleys of withering fire.
• More powerful that peasant bowmen in most ways but are more expensive.
• Trained at the barracks


Royal Men-at-Arms
• A Tier 3 light infantry that provide an area of effect melee attack buff to nearby units, and are better armoured than regular men-at-arms.
• Trained at the barracks and have a restrictive unit cap that can be increased throughout the campaign.


Recommended Mods:




The Loreful Unit pack adds 5 new units that are taken from or inspired by the games workshop army books and expanded material.

The Foot Squire Reskin mod gives regular foot squires a consistent look with the other foot squire units in this mod, as well as changing the unit icon.

The vow overhaul unlocks generals recruited with Questing/Knights vows earlier


FAQ
Q: Is this mod compatible with such and such mod?
A: If the mod alters vanilla Bretonnia units, buildings, effects or changes the peasant economy in any way, then you will experience issues almost certainly.

Q: Lily, are you going to add more units? Do you take requests?
A: I'm more likely to revamp and edit the existing units than create new ones. I do take commissions for making separate mods, but I'm fussy with what I work on and I'm not as well versed as other modders with script/lua and many other aspects of modding.
