Hi,

After a lot of troubleshooting (because I definitely didn't want to nuke from orbit and start over ;) ), I was able to fix my issue by doing this:

1) open steam, and unsubscribe from the mod
2) wait until the 'download' completes in the steam client.
3) close the steam client completely
4) restart the steam client after it has completely shut down and finished removing/updating files
5) go back to the workshop and re-subscribe to the mod
6) wait, once again, for the steam client to finish with the download/update
7) start stgellaris and check the launcher; the error was gone

I hope this helps the other folks that have the same issue...

Were you subscribed before or subscribed recently? Because I've tried this on another pc with fresh install of Stellaris, and I did not encounter any missing descriptor file issue.

I cannot get this mod to run. When i try and start the launcher this mod is greyed out and I cannot turn it to the on position. Same error as stated below.

Apparently quite a sum of the options were just 'missing' from the original codes. Had to play through a bit myself to find that out. Edicts related to rare resources, starbases have returned.

I did some research, and it seems that the reason is due to me updating it so lately(sorry) and the game having a new launcher. Try unsubbing from the mod, delete the mod folder for this one in the documents folder, then resub.

''this mod is missing a descriptor file'' in the launcher

Hi, It just says 'this mod is missing a descriptor file' in the launcher.

@CooterFace If it crashed, help me out by posting the error log here. It should be in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris

I just havent played it enough yet. Sorry for any misconvenience.
