Hi,

this is my new mod:

An complete graphical overhaul of the female family members, politicians and generals for the grand campaign, Imperator Augustus-, Hannibal at the Gates- and Rise of the Republic - campaign.

I got bored, that i got always only the same three female wifes in my campaigns.

So i decided to expand the variety between them. Historical accurate as it was possible for me of course. ;)

As inspiration i used mainly this:

I. Roman, Hellenistic and Italic women

10 new/reskinned female family members/politicians for roman, italic and hellenistic women in all campaigns.

II. Ptolemaic women

10 reskinned/new ptolemaic family members / politicians / generals in GC or IA.

III. Celtic and gallic women (GC, IA, HatG)

10 reskinned/new celtic and gallic family members/ politicians / generals for GC, IA and HatG.

IV. Brittonic women (GC, IA )

10 reskinned/new brittonic family members/ politicians / generals for GC and IA.

VI. Irish women of the Ebdani (GC, IA)

8 reskinned/new irish family members/ politicians / generals for GC and IA.

VII. Germanic women (GC, IA)

10 reskinned/new germanic family member / politicians / generals for GC and IA.

Some women have a different battlefield optic, inspired by the north germanic death goddess, who should have had a blue black body colour.

This mythological figure could probably be the reason, why the Harii painted their body black. They tried to use the fear of the death goddess.

VIII. Celtiberian women (GC, IA, HatG)

IX. Illyrian women (GC, IA, RotR)

XII. Steppenomadic women (GC, IA )

XIII. Eastern women (GC, IA )

For the eastern Females i took the Royal Women of the Parthian Empire as Reference:

As part of that expression royal women were undoubtedly dressed in fine and richly embroidered garments, long-sleeved, many-folded dresses tied by a belt. Their jewelry included multiple necklaces, bracelets and earrings, made of large-sized pearls or worked in gold with precious and semi-precious stones. Royal women probably wore a crown, but they could also wear the upright tiara or simply a veil which hung down the back. This is the impression given by the depictions of high-ranking women in sculpture, relief, and painting in the art of cities such as Palmyra, Dura-Europus and Hatra, which was influenced by, or modelled on, Parthian court art (Gall, pp. 75-84).

XX. Axumite/Da'amat women (GC, IA )

XXI. Gallic women (RotR )

10 reskinned or new added gallic female family member / politicians / generals for RotR.

RotR needed different noblewomen, as chainmail armor was invented by the celts around ca 350 BC and because of this outside of the timeframe of RotR.

XXII. Nuragic women (RotR )

10 reskinned or new added nuragic female family member / politicians / generals for RotR.

Screenshots were made, while using Armoured Horses Mod, CIU East, CIU West from Avetis/CIU Team, CIU Iberian Tribes from Miri82, ACR - Alii Colores Romae: Totus from Demokritos, Better Horses, elephants and dogs HQ texture v2 from Noif1988. I recommend to use them for a better graphical experience.

I tried to make the mod as historical to my knowledge as possible.

This mod I would say it's my favourite, the only I would change is the repeated faces of all germanic/greek women

Can you make a squad riding on heavy cavalry out of these ninjas? And yes, your mod is incredible! They could have been given something like a long cloak and a long skirt like the Eastern archers!
