Description
A rural canal, intersected by an autobahn, becomes the scene for an intense battle, as two armies rush to secure the bridge crossing for themselves. To add to the struggle, it is rumoured that a new German super tank that was crippled by an airstrike this morning may be still functional. A great prize too whom can secure it first! Capture or destroy it... a tough call. This map is best played with my Angriff Series of mods (for all vehicles, increased ranges, smoke & defences), but works fine with Vanilla COH2. The map attempts to strike a balance between aesthetics & playability. It is designed to allow movement of all vehicles in all areas, & the placement of OKW HQs & UK emplacements without too much trouble. It also is built to aid the AI so you have rich, intense battles.

The actual base game has severe issues with path-finding if the bridges are blocked. I have found this map & its predecessor to be solid... but appreciate that people play very differently.

There also could be other causes, mods, pop count etc.

Top line is that I do have 64bit COH2. Doesn't happen with any of your other maps.

Well that sucks, I only play the game to compstomp, that's why I download these kind of chokepoint maps and use mods to increase popcap.

This game, mods & maps are effectively ruined by the latest patch of April 2020. I completely screws the AI, turning it into an actionless camper. I would encourage my subscribers to go vote on a poll I put up to get this latest patch reversed.
