Description
First and foremost all credit for this mod modification goes to rearth and his rearth's Advanced Combat Systems (Slim Edition) I take no credit for this mod.

This modification changes a few things from his base mod for the T•U•S server.

  • Fixed Mexpex Warfare Industries v1.1.5 turret rotation speed when controlled via this mod.
  • Removed when manually aiming a single turret all other turrets fire.
  • Removed Missile Launcher. Broken with game update.
  • Removed non-ship control cockpit. Game update broke turret control flight seat that doesn't control ship.

Following is mostly the same description text from rearth's mod for the parts that have not been changed.

There is a new Cockpit and Control Station for large and small Grids, which enable you to aim with all your turrets at once while in 3rd person view of the ship. Hold down the alt-key to aim with all your turrets while in the ship control block.

If you don't want a turret to aim synchronized with other turrets, add the word "exclude" to its name, and the mod will simply ignore it.

Of course, manually targeting all turrets while in battle may be less efficient than just letting the computer control them, but its much more fun and allows to pick off specific targets.

Groups:
If you only want to control a specific control group of turrets, you have to name the controller the same way the control group is named. Then this controller will control only the turrets in the specific control group.

@MrMors how is the status on the planned update ? you said next few days, but that was last month. so is life just a bit too busy or did you stop entirely with SE modding ?

Also I forgot I made it work on all cockpits as well.

@MrMors I was able to update the script to do a few things. 1) Instead of Alt it now uses Right click to target allowing you to use cameras and turrets to control through. 2) When using the targeting system its turns off all the auto targeting and idle movement controls. Anyways I have all this code if you want to update this version unless you want me to just post it as a new one.

@Silverbane Honestly when i fixed this up for my server it was a lot more of chopping things out that didn't work then fixing. The code that controls the cockpits are lines 72 and 73. If you duplicate line 73 and change the string name it should work with other cockpits... I think. Its been a while. I had this whole plan to dive a lot deeper into SE but then life caught up and never got any farther.
