Description
This is a fictional Standard Scenario for the original Steam era Woodhead route, NOT the BR Blue version.

With the Hope Valley Line closed for engineering, Gypsum trains are crossing the Pennines via Woodhead.
You will be driving locomotive 31111 from Godley Junction to Penistone on a clear Summer evening.

The reason for using the Steam era version of Woodhead was simply because all the platforms are still open along the line whereby on the Electric in Blue version the stations are closed.


Difficulty : Easy
Duration : 40 - 45 mins
Traction : Class 31/1 Locomotive
Era : 1970's

(Aug - 2022). First time i subscribed to this I got some very strange things. Pitch black and some very odd times in the timetable.
Second time of asking it worked perfectly with no problems.

a good trip, Ai and signals all ok. the 'woodhead ' still surprises with the complexity of routes.

Much better, 7 pm so I could see everything, including the interesting AI traffic. I didn't save this time, as I was afraid to do so. An enjoyable trip, well constructed and formulated. Well done pjt!
