Description
Combat Den is a simple randomized mission for single and 8 player coop. A single mission file provides a number of re-playable scenarios, no two mission play throughs are the same.

How can I play?
It's simple. A randomized mission will be selected complete with a briefing. Just play.

@Thirith Sorry to hear about the experience. For some context, the mortor fire and enemy units spawn anywhere players are located, i.e., you can hide, but you can't run. However, they should not spawn right in front of players. :steamfacepalm: I'll look into this. Thanks for calling this out.

We had a bit of a frustrating mission just now. The mission type was that we were ambushed, and as we came under mortar fire, we headed towards where the mortar team supposedly was. Suddenly about ten enemy units popped into existence right in front of us. We ended up winning the mission, but we had a bunch of instances of enemies spawning right where we were. Perhaps the idea is to hole up somewhere close to where we start, but then it would be useful if the mission signalled that somehow. The mortar fire kinda suggests the opposite, namely "Get the hell outta there!"

@ZmeuL I did find an issue with the copy of mission on Steam. I re-uploaded and that seem to resolve the issue. Please give it another shot, let me know if you have any more issues. Thanks for calling this out.

Probably a bad steam download. Try forcing a re-dowload by unsubscribing this mission, start the game, make sure it's removed, then re-subscribe.

You can also download the misssion from GitHub and copy it into your mission folder. See link in description.

It may also one of the mod dependencies. Try another CUP/ACE mission to confirm those are working as well.
