as to the vulnerability of it? yes that might be an issue. however i dont intend for the Brawler to be my final battle cruiser. i am going to try to design that myself. i like all the reactive weaponry on your desitgn. it makes for easy defense when i get jumped and need to focus on running. but if im deliberately going to go into a fight i want the exp... i am greedy. so direct control fired weapons are going to be the mainstay of my final dreadnaught design.
i solved this by removing the side walls of the bay and replacing the full blocks with thinner walls and replaced the hatch door with two smaller doors.. its a simple fix tho. rest of the ship is pretty good.
note to others who want this ship. the room above the HV bay is floored in carbon floors easily removed and replaced with grow beds. and the celing already has grow lights. lots of small ways to improve this ship on the go. which i like because the purchase price is affordable and meant to be that way.
also. the steel hull is easily upgradable if you go salvage a crashed titan and get hardened plates.
good job designer
