Description
Transit Cargo Hauler 3 (SV CPU Tier 4, Class 2, Unlock Level 15)

Primary roles: Cargo, Survival, Warp

Update 6/24/2020 - I converted this ship to Alpha 12 specs. All RCS were removed, added 4 T4 CPU blocks and a shield. The player unlock level went to 20 from 15. I turned the pitch/roll/yaw stats some mainly reducing the roll by a lot.

Built for Xcaliber's February Challenge: https://discord.gg/9VFhkzP

The Transit-CH3 is a large 3X storage volume version of the Transit-CH1. Besides more cargo space it also features an interior cockpit. This version has 3 x 13000 SU) cargo containers. Besides moving cargo it also features most survival comforts in a cab off the cockpit. This ship has heavy lift thrusters for carrying some heavier cargo. This can fluctuate a lot on what you are carrying following weight limit rules. This ship is not a combat ship and does not have any defenses but avoid and escape danger. :) Also see the Transit-CH1 for a 7500 CPU smaller version. Link listed below.

Survival features

Inside the cab it has o2 and station, armor rack, 2 constructors, 2 fridges, WiFi, short range detector, warp drive, and interior cockpit access.

Offense and Defense

Steel Haul, best to avoid danger or have an escort.

Features Summary:

1. Player unlock level 15, no rare resources, alpha 9 7500 CPU compliant
2. 3 x 13K SU storage, heavy lift thrusters
3. Warp drive, o2 + station
4. 2 Constructors, 2 fridges, armor locker, WiFI, short range detector
5. Internal cockpit access
6. Sensor based lights, door, and ramp
7. Exterior spot lights + interior control switch
8. Requires no rare resources

Also see the Transit-CH1 for a smaller 1x 13K SU storage 7500 CPU compliant version.

Go-to SV for unknown planets when I don't want to risk crashing a CV in high gravity.

Hey, @JRandall
I overhauled this ship a bit because it was at t4 now anways and I wanted it to have some additional features like wepons, better internal layout (fuel tanks etc), cockpit armor and some quality of life features, while keeping the cool look of the original ship.

Escalated a bit and took way longer than I expected but I am really happy so far.

Would be cool if you check it out ;)

Thank you Ravlain, JadeRuby, and Mobius! @Mobius, What I think the issue is on not seeing the Transit ships in you list is that it starts with T. If you have over 200 subbed blueprints, it starts not showing them in reverse alphabetical order starting with Z. To fix the issue, you would need to remove some blueprints in the folder - C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\383120. What makes it a bit more difficult is the BP folder names are all numbers so you have to go in each folder to see what you are looking at. You can always copy them back to the folder too if you want to keep them around. I hope that helps. Thanks again all!

Is anyone else having trouble with any of the transit ships not showing up in the Blueprints? I've unsubed and resubed to Transit 1 and 3 and they are not showing up. Which is a shame because I really enjoy the transit series.

@JRandall, I've uploaded my version as Transit A12 , with a link back to here.

If you think it's good enough I'm happy for you to link to it :)

Thank you Lexa486, BatteryAcids, and Ravlain! @Ravlain, No problem, go ahead and post it. If you want I can add it as a modded version to the CH3 post. Thanks again!

I've created a version for my own use, all RCS and all but the rear XL thruster removed, an extra cargo hold (6.8k) where the main thrusters were. CPU3 compliant, with about 900 CPU available for extras, 1.26k lift capacity in 1G. Not quite as good-looking as the original as I've modified the front for extra visibility. If JRandall is OK with it I'll post it for general use.
