Re-fuelable diesel electric hybrid
For optimal use, increase the engine throttle and start the diesel engine to prevent the batteries dying

Emergency Battery
Forgot to turn on the engine before driving? An isolated emergency battery can be turned on to give the engine enough power to start, the switch is located on the right of the vehicle with the fuel gauges and re-fueling nozzle

Increase the engine throttle to full using the 1 key then hold the starter for a couple of seconds, if smoke starts coming out of the exhaust at the back of the vehicle you did it correctly.
