FotE+EP Revised - additional units for ERE

In 1 collezione di Aurelinus
FotE + EP Revised - compatible mods
21 elementi
Descrizione
Just submod allowing to play ERE with full stack of units that had to be removed from main pack due to CDT caused by AI when it controls too many units.

Use that submod if you want to play ERE.

Suggested armies composition for ERE:

Hotfix added, my bad.

Noticed Some ERE cavalry units such as the comites Taifali having no shield textures, pretty much all of the tier palatium archer cav I've recruited had the same problem. Is this a mod problem or just something on my end?

Decals on shields have nothing to FotE or any other mod, They look the way CA made them.

Some ERE units have identical shield scratches among the entire unit (ie. Equites Scutarii from barracks tier 2 Comitatenses). Not sure if the unit is from FotE or this submod, apologies if it's the former. Thanks for the great mod :)

There is link to armies composition in the description.
I can't see it practical to add such a mark as icons are way too small to recognize whatever marking.

Could you add an icon of sort into unit cards to denote their historical OOB? For example, Quinta Macedonica Comitatenses belonging to Magister Militum per Orientem. It is very difficult to recreate the historical armies because the only difference is their shield patterns.

99 units (probably, not sure what is real limit) means you can recruit via buildings only so many individual units for 1 faction. So if there are existing 300 units for WRE (according to Notitia) you can simulate only 99 of them safely + unlimited numbers if you actually play that faction . But AI can handle only ca 99.

Is it 99 units per army? or In total, like they have 4 armies and can recruit 25 units each?

Thanks for your feedback; the 'hypothetical' shield designs were integrated very well and look great!

Is there a way to use BOTH Eastern and Western units as one of the Roman factions?
• If (for example) the eastern Romans take Milan or the western emperor takes Constantinople?
• Just wondering if there is a version of the mod with BOTH WRE and ERE Notitia Dignitatum units available for the player

Clear speculation basing on existing similar/sister/mirror units either ERE or WRE side.
There are also existing images of shields not registered in ND like column of Arcadius depicting unknown Cornuti unit.
