ImprovedTowels

Description
Tired of wet bath towels and dish cloths just sitting around until they dry out? Fear not! Now you can wring them dry in no time! Better yet, if you have an empty container, you can even wring the water into it! Be careful though, it's tainted and needs to be sterilized before you can drink it!

Update... maybe, someday?

update?

2 units as a stop-gap pending the liquid system update would probably be pretty reasonable

Yeah, the new liquid system looks pretty sick. Might require a big-ish rework but it'd also make the mod pretty impressive. As far as not overpowered/realism, why not cap the amount it gives to be 2 units, so you can fill up a tumbler at best?

I plan on getting an update out soon, but I'm currently working on a new formula to calculate how much water each towel gives so that the amounts are a bit more realistic and not so overpowered. I also have an eye out on the Zomboid updates, so once the update that has the new liquid system has been released, I'll be updating this again to work with the new system. Hopefully that change will be as simple as changing some numbers around, lol.

Keen to see if this gets an update yet, it would be fantastic!

yay! I'll keep an eye out for it. Might I suggest adding a minimum wetness required to dry off, so that people can't just spam-dry?

Yeah, I need to reduce the amount of water each towel gives so that it's more realistic and less OP. I'll work on this mod more this week since my others have been updated already.

I love the idea of this, but it seems a bit OP. For one, I can keep drying myself over and over again, which might be an issue with the base game? But for two, it seems like the mod just fills up whatever container you wring it into, ending up with me filling up an entire kettle on one wipe. It probably shouldn't be more than one or two cups of water per towel.
