Description
Adds an entirely new tier of research, many new enemies, and a new storyline. Endgame-oriented, but also has research for early and mid game.

- Modulable equipment : craft powerful and varied weapons and armors, and learn to modulate them for customized variations that have entirely new stats, such as cover ignore or reduced friendly fire damage.
Modulation can be done on the spot, by any colonist wielding a nanotech weapon with the appropriate research done, and merely takes a few seconds.
Weapons includes melee weapons, pistol, shotgun, rifle, LMG, assault rifle, sniper rifle, minigun, and reusable rocket launcher. Most have 2 modulations that can be researched.

- New plants and drugs: Hellbud is a dangerous but powerful plant that can be used to make non-addictive (but foul-tasting) elixirs to heal wounds, improve combat performance, or permanently enhance animals.
Beware: Hellbud is toxic to anyone who sows it too often.

- New storyline. After a while, your colony suddenly starts getting attacked by people in red-ish, high-tech gear. Who are they, and how can you drive them away for good?
Or wait... could you learn to craft the equipment they're using, and perhaps even more?

- Multiple new ways for your foes to deal with turrets: Jammer belts that prevent them from attacking the wearer, anti-turrets weapons that neutralize or rapidly destroy turrets, a new raid arrival strategy that disables most of them... you'll have to think of other ways to protect your hard-earned nanotechnology!

- And more: improved mortars and shells, improved medical facilities and medicine, five new turrets, research AI...
While most of the new stuff is for late-game, the mod also adds some lower-tier research. Build caravan devices to boost your caravans, special tools to increase the speed of a specific work, weapon attachments, protective belts, EMP rifles...

Final note: whereas other mods tend to make the game easier, this mod is meant to be fairly challenging. It allows you to build powerful stuff but with a high cost and / or major drawbacks. It also adds many deadly threats. I would suggest only mixing it with balanced mods.

Compatibility: this mod should be compatible with pretty much everything, except Combat Extended and a few special cases.
Can be added to existing saves. Since it includes a new faction, it cannot be safely removed from a save after being added.

It's a huge shame this wasn't updated to 1.4. I find other mods that do late game weaponry and items just doesn't hold up to this. Does anyone know if a very similar mod?

i have a bio attack from the watchers on my base cuz of this mod. the bio attacks never ends.......
