The SRV-75C "Acteon" Mobile Refinery

IFF ID: (SRV-75C MRF)
Hull symbol: SGRV

Like EHI's other (X)RV's, the Acteon is a dedicated refining platform, rather than an all-in-one manufacturing base. It's extensive conveyor system is laid out to automatically unload mining vessels, sort ore into its refineries, and then pass the refined materials to a separate storage system for unloading. Designed to operate in areas that might have sparse uranium resources to fuel its reactor, the Acteon is equipped with 14 hydrogen power plants and extensive battery banks in addition to a token array of solar panels. To aid in its long ranging mission, the Acteon is equipped with berthing for up to six crew plus captain, and has six jump drive modules for reaching new mining sites. For its attendant mining vehicles, The Acteon is designed to operate in conjunction with up to nine EHI D-120-S Worker Bee Light Excavation Craft via a removable adapter. However, it is fully capable of supporting other vessels of similar size and configuration.

The Acteon has remained very popular over its lifetime. In fact, to the chagrin of its creators, even moreso than its succesor, the SRV-80B Neosho. This led to a strage situation where Acteon upgrade kits were earning more annually than sales of completely new Neoshos. It was ultimately decided to discontinue the Neosho in its extant form and instead roll its most well-regarded features into a heavily upgraded Acteon. The current '75 Charlie edition of the Acteon is the result of this effort. Overhauled engine nacelles, an expanded brige layout, increased defensive weaponry, expanded gas storage, and increased crew capacity are only some of its new features.

Scripts:
Whip's Auto Door and Airlock Script
Automatic LCDs 2
LiDAR Mapping Script
[PAM] Path Auto Miner | Autonomous mining and grinding script by Keks

IMPORTANT:
The Sorter 'Reactor Fuel Bypass' allows for uranium to flow to the ship's reactors. The Sorter 'Ice Bypass' allows ice to flow to the O2/H2 generators. These can be shut off when necessary. The Sorter 'Unload Ice From Cargo' allows Ice stored in the Ore cargo containers to be unloaded. In addition the Connector 'Ship Resupply' allows for ammo, tools, and other ship's stores to be freely loaded/unloaded into the ship's inventory.

Author's Note:
This ships has subgrids that consist only of individual connector blocks attached to the end of the docking pistons. This ship can still be easily built via projector.
The SRV-75C is the smaller predecessor of the SRV-80B MRF, specialized into being able to operate independent of uranium deposits if needed.

The PAM program is set up for the control seat (just menu navigation, up/down/select) on the workshop blueprint. The D-120 miners I designed to work with this thing are themselves set up withe the correct hardware and scripts ect. However actually inputting flight paths ect has to be done manually. For that, and other details (things like PAM communication channels ect) read the instructions on the page for PAM.

I'm actually holding off on the final update I plan on making to this ship because I'm waiting to see what the AI update brings.

So I just got into the PAM rabbit hole and realise that this utilises PAM somewhat. Is there anywhere that explains how to connect my miners so I can use the Drone Command seat on the bridge properly?

It's actually okay now. I figured out that by using creative mode I could paste the ship in working order and screenshot the various toolbars. So I've got them all now.

Thank you regardless. :steamhappy:

My toolbar setups definitely tend to get a bit crazy, I'll see what I can do.

Is it possible to get info on the various toolbar bindings for the control seats? A lot of them have not appeared for me when printing the ship out in survival.

would it be possible to get the pre-warfare dlc version?

Cool! Glad that helped! The pistons are more or less optional in the build - they're there to sort of make docking a bit more flexible, but the ship works just fine without them. :)

Solved. I set the minimum distance of the pistons from 0 meters to 1 meter, and that stopped the twitching and rolling. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for responding. It looks like the pistons are the problem. When I extend them the rolling stops, but as soon as I retract them, over the course of a few seconds the ship starts rolling again.

This is odd, no I haven't seen this before. The only thing I can think of is it might be something to do with collision for the connectors leading to the ventral docking adaptor. Maybe try disconnecting/reconnecting this piece a few times. I have timers set up to make it easy. Otherwise try messing with extending the resupply and unloading pistons along the sides to see if there's some kind of unresolved collision issue happening there.

-side note that I usually convert this ship to station when I'm actually mining to get PAM to work.
