RCS-Class Armored Cruiser (1:10, torpedo launcher)

Description
The RCS-class armored cruiser is a capital class warship in the Covenant Navy. It is best suited to frontline combat and strike craft deployment.

An aging design hailing from the olden days before shielding technology was readily available, the RCS was intended to become the mainstay cruiser in the Covenant Navy but was replaced by the newer, somwhat smaller, more refined, and overall superior CCS-class. Her armament is small for a ship of her size, she's slow, and has no shielding. However her hull is rather durable, and her interior is optimised towards extra hangar space for fighter deployment. While most of her class have been broken down or destroyed, the rest still effectively fill the role of escort carriers, missile boats, or token commands given to Jiralhanae shipmasters.

Armament
Ventral energy projector, plasma pulse defense turrets, guided plasma torpedo launcher (5)

Equipment
Jump Drive, medical bay, medium hangar, small command bridge assembler

Tactics
A slow, bulky target, the RCS cannot keep up with most enemy craft or avoid incoming fire, so she is best kept at the rear pounding the target with torpedoes at range and launching her fighter compliment to support the fleet.

R: Reverence, capable of conducting reconnaissance missions and is capable of excavating Forerunner artifacts.
C: Commonplace, able to be deployed effectively in numbers and easy to produce.
S: Salvation, a dedicated warship able to destroy enemies with an energy projector.

PS: This ship was built using an import to get the proportions right and has a bridge designed based off the the Truth and Reconcilliation's control center in Combat Evolved, albiet smaller.

Thank you, that's the hope anyway that they're on the whole fairly usable if not the best designed in terms of practicality

All your ships are very pretty and cause no lag, unlike some other halo ships so they are great to play with

Out of all the post-Bungie designs seen in the video games I think the RCS is probably one of the better ones function-wise, giving the Covenant a counterpart to the Halcyon project. I'm glad you like it!

I'm hoping Microsoft will allow modding, as that will expand the community even wider/bigger

It is a very smart move from microsoft and 343, as well

I do wonder how big a market they're trying to tap into there, but I have a feeling a lot of PC-bound fans like me will be much happy.
