Little Fears: Nightmare Edition

Description
Little Fears was a story-based pen & paper horror RPG created by in 2001, where the main characters play as children and must fight against various monsters and demons and other nightmarish horrors that come from a place called Closetland to prey on the innocent. The game was considered a bit controversial at the time, especially for including rules about child abuse, not shying away from the extremely dark subject matter, and even including some monstrously difficult punishments for failure. Not to mention the Seven Kings of Closetland representing the 7 Deadly Sins (AN: obviously the game doesn't condone these things, but it's still a pretty intense thing to shove into a game where the main heroes are children).

In 2011, the Nightmare [2nd] Edition was released, boasting a similar game but with a lot of the original's edges sanded down for easier gameplay. You and your friends all play as children between age 6 and 12 (6yo's have more Belief, which is kinda like the magic system of the game and allows you to empower objects and give monsters weaknesses, but lack much physical strength whereas 12yo have less Belief but a lot more strength; the average age of your characters determines the game's tone) as you battle the monsters of Closetland, a terrifying world where all monsters, and terrible things that hide under your bed or in your closet are born (it's not unlike the monster world from Little Monsters), and the threat these things pose is very real. They could just kill you, or they could enslave you for the rest of your life, turn the adults in your life you love/trust against you, or even turn you into a monster yourself, or worse. Age, and in particular the birthday your character has, are extremely important; once you hit 13, you can longer see the monsters, but it also means you can't fight against them anymore. This game provides, not only the necessary standard character sheets (later updates will include scripted character sheets for all 3 books) and dice, but also ALL supplementary material:

- Little Fears: Nightmare Edition Core Rulebook (which includes all rules needed for standard play and should give your players a good idea of how to play the game)

- Little Fears: NE Book 2- Among the Missing (which includes new PC sheets, rulesets, characters, and stories for missing, lost, and runaway child characters)

- Little Fears: NE Book 3- Blessed Are the Children (which also includes new PC sheets, and rulesets, characters, stories, and even additional powers based around children born with powerful souls, or even born without souls at all)

[AN 2: though both of these stack with the corebook and you can use either one or all 3 for your campaign, the book doesn't recommend allowing players to stack the Missing and Blessed types onto any one character for variety]

- Also included are Supplementary "Goodie Bags" (The Butterfly Knights and Baba Yaga's Children), and standalone Campfire Tales adventures that can be tossed into any currently running campaign for added adventure; there are 8 in total: Beggars' Night, The Fall Harvest, The Longest Night of Your Life, Death by Chocolate, Dead Leaves, Old Man Winter, and Camp Howling Wolf, and these can be run in any order you choose--if at all.

- Lastly, the complete collected "Happy Birthday, Little Fears" book, which is a 10th Anniversary reprint of the original Little Fears 1st Edition, with ALL the extra adventures there; however, I haven't added anything for 1st Edition or the 1e character sheets, so if there's enough people interested then I can throw that together.

Hope you enjoy what I have for right now and I hope that I can bring a much improved system to you in the future.

For some reason the tablet isn't showing up, however a recent update just added PDF support for custom tiles, so that might help?

The Core Rules should be included on a tablet (I don't know of any way to get the rulesets in the game other than linking the digital copies from my GDrive)

Does this include the core rulesets or just the character sheets? If so, where would I find them?
