Description
Created for Alpha 9. Size class 2. Unlock level 10. Intended for a single player game started on a temperate planet. It needs mostly wood and concrete, allowing you to save steel for your vehicles. All areas have lighting controlled using signal logic. The shelf above the storage is for a ventilator should the base require oxygen. Force fields would need to be placed at the doors or the doors swapped out for airtight ones. The 4 large blocks of storage are easily expanded and accessed through container controllers. You should have ample storage for a starting planet base. 2 cannon turrets and 4 sentry guns are sufficient defense if using default settings and difficulty. The base looks like a wide, single storey villa from the outside. Inside, a large hall with high ceiling has space set aside for up to 36 growing plots. The grow lights are already there but you'll need to place the growing plots yourself. The hall also houses a food processing area, constructor, armor station and medical equipment. Generator, fuel and oxygen storage are hidden beneath the floor and accessed using the control panel. A bedroom and kitchen area are in 2 wings, one either side of the hall. The open plan layout leaves plenty of space for you to move things around or add stuff should you choose. It has 10 small solar panels built into the roof but you may wish to add or remove solar panels depending on the location of the base.

Yeah, sorry. I should really mess around with it in a private 2nd workshop slot. I didn't realise updates would show or flag up to subscribers. I'll leave it alone now. Thanks.

Since 1st posting it I've made it unlock level 10, down from 15 and reduced it's rare ingot cost.

The ventilator and force fields have been removed as it doesn't need oxygen and to be airtight on a temperate planet.

Growing plots have been removed but it's obvious where to place them when you have them.

Some under the floor container extensions, fuel and oxygen storage have been removed to reduce cost but are easily replaced if needed later in the game.

Sentry guns are now retractable.

Solar panels were played around with.

The decking now "floats".

Outside lighting added.

Texturing niggles have been sorted.

Two stone heads and some tribal deco have been added.

Just one thing....

20 updates since you posted the base on January 13th, almost an update daily.

Will you have a blueprint that doesn't need updates unless it needs one because of game update ?

Could you please add change notes to the updates.

Makes me wish I could put some antlers on the wall and a fur rug on the floor. Nice work!
